Environment
We are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices. Our key initiatives include:

Renewable Energy Investment:
In line with our commitment to clean energy, we have since 2018 invested in and implemented a 1 MW solar renewable energy system on our warehouse. These solar panels generate a substantial portion of our energy needs, securing at least 75% of our energy from renewable sources. By reducing our reliance on non-renewable energy, we actively contribute to the fight against climate change. -
Recycling and Waste Management:
We take responsibility for the byproducts and scrap generated during our steel manufacturing processes. All steel byproducts and scrap, being annually in excess of 800MT, are meticulously collected and sent for recycling, ensuring that they are repurposed rather than contributing to landfill waste. This commitment to recycling promotes circular economy principles and reduces the environmental impact of our operations. -
Research and Development:
We continually invest in research and development to explore innovative, eco-friendly technologies, and practices. By striving to develop sustainable manufacturing processes and products, we aim to lead the industry in environmental stewardship. Our research efforts focus on reducing energy consumption, minimizing waste generation, and enhancing the overall sustainability of our operations. -
Green projects focused Investments:
Demco Properties has fully invested in the RedRock project that is composed of 19 blocs, with a total of around 200 chalets. This project is the first ecofriendly village that offers 80% green areas, a bio farm, renewable energy and a water treatment, along with all types of natural activities (hiking, running, camping….) promoting the safeguarding of the environment.
